Lesson learned: never write that you're not vomiting, until you've waited a few days and can see that you're actually not vomiting. You know, just in case you have the good fortune to catch two stomach bugs in five days. What? That doesn't usually happen? What? IT HAPPENED TO SAMMY. And then me. So, yes, our lovely week in Houston was plagued with illness. Big thanks to my parents for taking care of sick Sammy who whined A LOT and sick Heidi who couldn't lift her own arms without groaning.

We drove home Sunday which sounds harmless enough, unless you have a daughter named Milka who HATES the car and "screamed like a maniac all the way home" (Sammy's words). But, hey, at least she wasn't vomiting! Silver lining?
