Opa took Sammy for a ride on his tractor. The ride was short, as Samuel was not exactly pleased with the noise of the tractor and overall did not enjoy it as much as we thought he would. The picture came out nicely, though!

Something new we learned this weekend: Samuel is officially a walker! He is walking constantly now, though his movements do slightly resemble those of a baby penguin. However, we put his first pair of tiny Converse All Star's on his feet (thanks, Baka!) and he had no idea what to do. He kept toppling over and then decided crawling was a better idea:

We had a great time Sunday afternoon, visiting with everyone, including Ami and Aunt DD! Thanks to everyone for making our anniversary weekend so special. Ami brought us a raspberry cream cake for dessert, and it was delcious. Baka made muffalettas with homeade olive spread that rival any I've eaten elsewhere. Thanks for all the wonderful cards and gifts; we love you all!
