Friday was a busy day for us: Will's 28th birthday and Sammy-gets-to-wear-his-bat-outfit-again day! We had a long (read: fun-filled yet tiring) day of celebrating and--no surprise here--eating. Because everyone needs to see cute baby Will:
Here's Sammy Thursday night before the big day and before Will carved our pumpkin (I have no idea how to carve a pumpkin and was IN AWE of Will's pumpkin-carving skills). Samuel is attempting to bite/kiss/swallow whole the pumpkin. Also, baby could PICK UP the pumpkin! I'm pretty sure he's the strongest one year old ever, because, really, look at the size of that thing:

Note: Sammy is giving Mama the "I'm concentrating on something" stare. In this case, the something is putting a plastic egg on top of a round, red part of his dump truck. Wow. Fun stuff. (And definitely a task that necessitates full concentration.)
