Sammy "Helps" Plant a Geranium

Sunday afternoon Samuel and Will planted a geranium in our front yard. I took pictures.

We're still working on the house, currently in the installing blinds/buying curtains phase. We're looking for some colorful curtains for Samuel's room; his bedspread has a lot of red, blue, and lime green in it. Any ideas? We went to Target last night and were disappointed by their total lack of fun curtains. You can find plain white or black curtains, frilly curtains with pink bows (fit only for very small girls or very old women), or uglier than dirt "patterned curtains" (think vomit-inducing fuchsia with teal polka-dots and geometric shapes). Yeah, we're still looking.

We're also attempting to plant a few more flowers before summer hits and everything curls up and dies. We bought a lovely Mr. Lincoln tea rose that seems determined to die already. I think maybe we should just stick to geraniums.
